Ailing Alaska Killer Whales to Get Protection

4th Jun 2004 U.S. officials said on Thursday they are granting special protection to a small group of Alaska killer whales that have dwindled in number since some members were seen swimming through oil from the 1989 Exxon Valdez spill.
