First meeting of IWDG North Kerry Local Group4th Dec 2016
The first meeting of a new IWDG Group in North Kerry will take place on Friday 9th December at the visitor centre for Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre in Tralee, Co Kerry from 19:30-21:00pm.
A talk by biologist Dr. Marie Louis on her work on bottlenose dolphins in Ireland and internationally will be followed by a meeting on how to go about setting up the group and finding out about what people locally would like to see happen. . The main focus of this local group is to get people in the local area out experiencing and recording cetaceans, collecting data we can use after sufficient training, and increasing membership numbers. The idea is to form an active group of people recording cetaceans and increasing membership.
