"Living the Wildlife", returns to RTE TV

23rd Mar 2015

We are delighted to see the return to RTE tomorrow (March 24th) of this Irish wildlife series, which will show on RTE 1 every Tuesday evening at 7:00pm. During the series, presenter and wildlife film maker Colin Stafford- Johnson will showcase the best of Ireland's natural history and will explore the latest research and conservation initiatives that aim to protect our native species. Tomorrow night's show will feature nesting great skuas (bonxies) off remote Inishark in Connemara and promises as always to be a real visual treat.

During the 1st series some 5 years ago, Colin worked closely with IWDG to film both fin and humpback whales in West Cork and along the Waterford/Wexford coast and also filmed basking sharks with Emmett Johnson off Donegal. Great to see the national broadcaster show casing both Irish wildlife and Ireland's award winning wildlife filmmakers.
