Oil spill expected to hit south coast in 16 days

17th Feb 2009 Up to 1000 tonnes of oil spilled off the west Cork coast by two Russian naval vessels on Saturday is expected to hit the South east coast of Ireland in 16 days time depending on weather conditions, according to the Irish Coast Guard.
