Join the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group, Ulster Wildlife and Love Your Lough to explore the biodiversity of Carlingford Lough. Explore the wildlife of the Lough as it is today, including a visit to the harbour seal haulouts at Green Island and Block House Island and the rich birdlife of the Lough. We will also explore the past biodiversity of the Lough and how the Lough once abounded with native oysters, Common skate and even Thresher sharks! If we are lucky, we may even encounter dolphins and will hear about the Arctic whale sighted at the mouth of the Lough in 2015. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
